GROWING UP DOESN’T MEAN
YOU STOP HAVING FUN.
Do you remember being a kid?
Waking up early on Sunday morning so you could watch your favourite cartoon at breakfast. Back then, breakfast meant a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch soaking in sugary milk. Boy, life was good.
How about hanging out in your room, reading comics and playing 8-bit video games kids nowadays would scoff.
Do you remember how curious you were? Do you remember asking silly questions like “Why is the sky blue?” or “Where do puppies come from?” Questions adults casually dismissed because they were ‘trivial’ or ‘dumb’.
As we get older, we tend to lose that child-like spirit — the tenacious curiosity, the ability to find the fun in anything, and that unapologetic sense of self.
Life really does come at you fast. You start caring about people’s opinions, your stress level is through the roof, and you find out your body doesn’t love milk the way it used to.
We created PixiePlums as an homage to our young sprit and a reminder that getting old doesn’t mean that we stop asking dumb questions and having fun.
Life is a blast, don’t let them tell you otherwise.
